I was surprized at my last service at 16000 miles or so that the back brakes (only)were getting low. I'm normally pretty light on brakes (and don't track the car). Is the E-diff responsible - what are you other guys finding? The technician said the brakes were 50 per cent worn, so I'm surprized that he thought rear brakes were actually required just yet.

My back tyres are also due for replacement (incidentally the Camskill tyre finder couldn't find DT1s - but an email to Camskill confirmed they had them. )

34000 miles and no comments on brakes from any of the dealers in 4 services.
Brakes are for wimps.

I remember my v6 saab needed rear brakes at around 15k miles - the rear brakes would be automatically applied on tight cornering and so were used more than the front.
As you say, don’t know if e-diff is the reason for it but, like I say, I’ve done twice the mileage.

Around 22k and the rear tyres , front and rear pads were all finished.
Fitted Life 110 pads all around and they are just about finished now at 27K but that's 4 trips to the ring including a stint on the GP circuit, a day at Spa and a day at Donnington, they work better than OEM but definitely don't last as long.
