Hey folks,

My A110 has had the issue for a long time that the seat reclines on its own. This is particularly bad on track days — after a few laps (especially when it's warm), I can barely reach the steering wheel.

Has anyone else had this problem? The frame was replaced a year or so ago for the common creaking problem, and the self-reclining still happens (and now it's creaking worse than it did before).

I test-drove a 2022 GT model a little while ago, and I noticed the seat recliner is much stiffer to turn than on mine — maybe they revised the design, or perhaps I've been on the wrong end of a manufacturing tolerance twice in a row. Since my warranty is ending soon, I'm insisting the dealer takes another crack at it — it's a pretty dangerous problem. It's likely not helped that I'm a "sitting giant" (i.e., my height is in my torso) so I'm quite top-heavy.

Interested to see if anyone else has had this.

I have noticed this but only after two or three journeys, having been getting in and out of the car several times.
It is only a few clicks so never bothered me (although I noticed it).

I wonder if there is a way to tighten the spring mechanism to solve this?

I'm eight or so weeks into Alpine ownership and have now done thirteen track days with the car and am suffering the same problem, very annoying indeed. will contact Alpine Winchester and see what they have to say, but judging by their performance so far it what you'd expect from grot car dealers !
