More fun with SD card

After struggling to get my PE to play music correctly from the SD card ( does not contain media, crash and reboot, played for 10 seconds and stopped, etc), it has been behaving and playing as expected for best part of 12 months
Having been away and played a lot, I decided to update the content adding new music and deleting done old stuff
I removed the card, made the changes from an asbestos tablet and checked a number of new tracks played. Today I've put the card back into the car and hey presto back to the old behaviour - crashes and reboots or message to say device doesn't contain music
As I had done originally I created a copy onto a USB stick and this plays fine in the car
It's as though the system doesn't connect correctly or something
I'm using exactly the same card as have always done
I'll try to reformat and start from scratch again
Anybody has this or know what's going on or how to fix it?

After much messaging around (all with no luck), I tried with just a few albums and prove things were back working
After getting it working I then added more files on and it all went back to no media on device
After looking through the new files I noticed that some had extra files from when I used a ripping app. This had added album art and also LRC files which I presume are lyrics. I went through all of the files and deleted any extra files just leaving the MP3 music
It may be coincidence but the card was accepted and plays everything as it should
Not sure if it's 100% the cause but it's worth a try off anybody's having issues

Popped the card or and radio played fine without rebooting again
