Gah, picked up a nail in the past week or so - just had the wheel off at a local garage and it’s in the shoulder of the tyre so new tyre time. As I’ve had 15,000 miles on this set I’m getting two.

Was tempted to get the S size for my PE wheels but went standard again- has anyone moved to the S size on the PE forged wheels? How different did it feel on standard suspension? Be useful to know for next time.

Thanks in advance

I am waiting till my rears wear sufficiently for them to be replaced on my P.E. with Fuchs, when they do i am thinking of putting 225*40*18 on the front and 255*40*18 rears. I've always thought that the 205 on the front and 235 rear look undersized for the rims and the S sizes do fill out the arches better. Suppose i am used to the oversized tyres fitted as standard on my previous cars, keep us informed as to your choice.

I would be interested to know this too, rears are going soon and been thinking the same thing, before I go full in on the Corsa wheels

Had the S tyre specs for two years now and never looked back. Fill the arches better, steer and handle better, bit more grip, no obvious ride penalty.

I wouldn’t necessarily fit them to Legende or Serac wheels though as they are a touch on the narrow size.

And only fit as a complete set of front and rear as the rolling radius is slightly bigger.

......but satisfactory with Fuchs, as a 0.5" wider rim?

There is a bit more road noise in the S which I put down to the change in tyres.
