I would say realistically somewhere between 350 and 400 miles depending on driving style and road type.
I'd go along with that on a run - but, given that your nerves might give out when you have less than a gallon in the tank, reallistically you might reduce that by 30 miles or so.Here's some data from about 14 months of mixed road use (motorways plus being silly on fun roads) - but no track days:
Theoretical ranges (tank mpg x tank capacity):
Average: 335
Min: 258
Max: 443
And the points at which I actually filled up:
Average: 242
Min: 109 (in Scotland, stopping at every Super pump)
Max: 352
Clearly I'm a cautious sort.

See the Alpine Road Trip thread for a summary of our recent 3 week tour which was a mix of small mountain roads and some high speed autobahn moments.
We averaged 14.8 Km per litre. 650 KM to 680KM is certainly feasible on such a trip. Not that l’d push it to the last drop. For pottering around, l assume 620KM as the approx tank range.

I've not had mine that long and only 'extended the tank' once, but whereas in other cars the range slowly drops to 0, I found the Alpine got to 35 miles I think and then didn't drop further and just said "under 35 miles". Which I found rather less than useful. Anyone else found this?

Esso 99 as it has no ethanol in it - I “think” I can feel a difference from the diet stuff.
I've not used Esso Supreme+, but there is no doubt in my mind that the PE runs better on 99 octane whether it be VPower or Momentum. Pick up from low revs is noticeably better on the higher octane stuff. I'll have to give Esso a go.biggles330d said:

Ha, yes - it ‘declines to comment’ under 35 miles. Bit odd as (in my experience) French manufacturers are amongst the more accurate mpg/range predictors. It’s derrière covering I suppose. An average of 45mpg is quite an effort. I managed to do that only once while driving mainly routes nationales from Valence to Luxembourg (400 miles), knowing that I might not be able to find any petrol in the NE part of France. Doing so really takes all the fun out of the A110 though.
After 5,000 miles in my MY22 GT I have an average fuel consumption of 37mpg, varying between 32mpg for curvy mountain roads and that 45mpg highway only.
The tank is certainly bigger than 40L, on one occasion I have managed to squeeze in 43.75L. I believe that the instruction guide says 45L, but I can imagine that it is a bit more than that. Not really wanting to test that though: the MX-5 ND's tank size is supposedly also 45L, but even after running out of fuel once, it would only fit 44.5L.

This was my first long trip in the car, so I was just enjoying driving her; I wouldn't say it took the enjoyment out of the journey -if anything, it convinced me that A110 ownership could be a wise 'head' decision as well as an impulsive 'heart' one! The car is a late Legende (ie 252bhp) and is a beautifully poised cruiser: comfortable, quite quiet and with a good turn of speed 50-80 (plus!) that makes overtaking a real joy . I certainly wasn't bimbling along the inside lane at 65 mph -hence my surprise at achieving that level of economy.
