Atelier Colours
Discussion
This is niche interest, but oddly I find myself compelled to compile the following list of Atelier colours:
Open to all info, corrections and suggestions anybody has, just fancied doing this, having noted that two further colours have disappeared from the configurator (Orange Sanguine and Gris Montebello, the former apparently selling out!) - will attempt to keep this up to date.
Cheers,
Nick

Well done, Nick. I applaud your work. Hopefully, I'll be able to give you a figure for Blue 081 in a few days' time.
Have you been through the new colours thread on the French forum? I should think there will be some info for you there. & there's another thread with a name something like, "Who receives his MY22?", which may help you fill in a few more boxes.

At the dealer's today, I saw my own Heritage Blue number 42 (12 miles on the clock & waiting to go off on a transporter for full PPF), & just a few feet away, Heritage Blue number 43, waiting for its new owner to drive it away.
Ha, that's fantastic - glad it's landed and thanks for the update! Great work! I have been (rather obsessively) comparing the atelier colours to help me make a decent decision, and this overview is certainly useful. Beige Sable is still my favourite, but I might as well go for the Gris Montebello that is currently up for sale, just to be able to drive it to the south of France this summer.
One remark: according to my local dealer in Soest, Bleu de France is also sold out.

Great info!
I have no5 Acropolis Orange, I believe this was stoped very early on. It certainly wasn’t available when I took delivery of my car in June last year. Alpine UK did say they would find out total production numbers, but have not been back in touch. If anyone could spread any light on this that would be great.
Loving all the varied colours, it really is in the spirit of the mark.

I believe one of the orange colours was the first to fill its allocation, I think it is the Orange Sanguine colour but neither are available so maybe they are both fully allocated and may explain why the new standard colour added for MY22 was an orange.
Gris Montebello is now exclusively available with the J. Redele special edition.

Thanks all for the updates, have amended the list accordingly!
I've a feeling that the above will never be confirmed 'officially' by Alpine, mainly to save face over some colours which haven't sold, some which had to be pulled and really, the overall success of the programme. I'm not sniffy about this, sometimes you have to be brave and roll the dice - it doesn't always work out. I suspect that Orange Sanguine may remain the only shade which actually reached its run of 110, the others being re-purposed for special editions. Again not sniffy about that - hopefully those repurposed shades enable them to generate some profitable SEs.
The mention of Bleu de France being sold out (with 43 known examples) very much makes me expect a tribute livery along these lines...
@bikecarski I'll forever be jealous of your (magnificent) Acropolis car, it was my backup choice in case Bleu de France was unavailable (followed by Jaune RDL). With the power of hindsight I'm a bit annoyed I didn't go for one of them, and leave B de F for a facelift replacement. Ah well...

I heard they had major issues with the color consistency/quality, which would never be officially confirmed I reckon.I have no5 Acropolis Orange, I believe this was stoped very early on. I believe it since my Sanguine had clear coat peeling from new

I am on the verge of ordering either a Tulipe Noir or Abyss Blue, should I be concerned about the quality of the Atelier paint option? I intend to take it straight to a detailer anyway to resolve any imperfections.
For any colour which has remained available, there should be no unique quality issues - Tulipe Noir will be A-ok. (awaits several real world examples to either corroborate or confound this)
For context: I bought my car new, saw the cover pulled off for the first time. I had it taken to a very reputable detailer & PPF installer in an enclosed trailer. They detailed the car, and started to apply PPF. The clear coat started peeling off the rear bumper when installing the PPF.
This is most likely just a one off situation, but just be aware that Alpine UKs stance is that the detailer damaged the paint, and Alpine wouldn't pay to fix it.
