Seats - Oh gawd...
Discussion
My car is due at the dealership in just over a week - very excited as you can imagine. In terms of seats, I went for the 'standard' ones rather than those in the Legende as I'll be tracking the car and don't really like leather seats in any case. However, I've just had a couple of days in demo A110S and my back is now really sore. The seat was set in the middle position but ideally for me I need it in the lowest - I couldn't get comfortable at all. Aside from this my only previous drive was about an hour or so in a Legend, in which I could obviously set the seats low, and found them fine with no discomfort at all.
Has anyone else found they've suffered with back pain with the seats in the wrong setting but then been ok once the height is set correctly? I'm fearing I'm going to be selling the car before I've even taken delivery!

I had this issue with the Evora, and had to sell it. Seats were the deciding factor for me when I chose the Legende. I hope the buckets work put for you though!

Edited to add..the Evora had a really heavy clutch and slightly offset pedals too, which exaggerated the back issues.

Yes, let's hope that if they're set in the lowest position it will help you. Remember there are two places of adjustment, front and back, so ensure you know what suits you best. Default setting is middle of the three holes.
Probably an obvious comment is to contact the dealer in advance to warn them to adjust them to your preferred height before collection...!
It's not a 5 minute job, and the frustration of having to wait on the day (assuming the workshop has time to do it) would be unbearable!
Enjoy the handover...!
Cheers, CliveJ.

I have a Legende as I found the standard seats to narrow but even with the comfort seats I,ve had back pain after a couple of hours journey could do with a bit more lumbar support also feel my right foot is bent to far back when on the accelerator, or might just be a age thing ☹️

I've asked for them to be set on the lowest position but is it possible to have them more reclined? So, lowest setting at the rear and middle at the front? Not sure that is exactly what I want/need but just thought I'd ask in case anyone knowsProbably an obvious comment is to contact the dealer in advance to warn them to adjust them to your preferred height before collection...!

I wonder if there is something that could be done. (off to investigate Sabelt lumbar support...)AlexNJ89 said:
I actually don't even find the comfort seats that comfortable. I don't suffer from back ache but my ar**e does really start to hurt after a couple of hours.
I went for a legende specifically for the comfort and heated seats and have not been disappointed. The range of positions (that I do adjust regularly) and the support means I can climb out after a 3 hour drive no problems at all. In fact it is one of the more comfortable cars I have owned.
I have to admit I’ve bought a little memory foam lumbar cushion which I ended up trimming to size - I’ve found that the small of my back “hovers” away from the seat and therefore was really unsupported.
I need to find somewhere that can upholster it in a matching alcantara material (I’ve got an S) so it has less of a DIY grandad cushion look!
That said I’m 6ft 7 and 17 stone so pushing the limits of what is plausible to fit!!

Could some of these Sabelt's own cushions be helpful to somebody?
