Life110 Shift Paddles: up close photos + Donnington
Discussion
My car came with the Life110 bigger paddles, not fitted as the first owner wasn't keen. I was - but I wasn't sold on the rough cast finish, which felt sort of weird to the touch to me.
I got some wet & dry and a buff wheel out and gave them a decently even satin finish. They now feel silky and catch the light nicely, positioning is ultra similar to how my 488 was just with a thicker edge than the carbon, and the extra reach it gives you proves very useful.
Great mod and a dead easy fit.
I took some half decent photos that might be useful is anyone is on-the-fence about them etc. Shout out to David Pook doing great work.
Got it on track recently at Donington and had an absolutely awesome time with it. Mine is the only 110 I've driven, and arrived with the club wheels and Life110 spoiler, springs, wheels & geometry - so I don't have the more lively factory car as a reference, but it's now a proper weapon - whilst remaining fun and a lovely thing to drive home in afterwards. Can't sing its praises enough really, just love it.

I see that David has just posted that from now on his paddles will come with a better finish, so concerns such as yours seem to be being addressed which is good to see.I got some wet & dry and a buff wheel out and gave them a decently even satin finish. Glad you're enjoying the car! The paddles you have were first batch, these had the most textured finish. Batch 2 was a bit smoother but still had the texture which I originally wanted for feel. New 22my paddles have changed the finish to smooth, and also a brighter silver.
Hi Dave,Do you know when the MY22 Life110 paddles will be available?
They sound perfect for what I'd like aesthetically.
