Alpines Spotted in the wild!

Saw my first Alpine on the road today, a nice ‘61 plate Pure or Legende in Alpine blue driving through Warminster this lunch time. Nice to see another one in the area

Took me 4 years to spot one in the wild, then two came along at once, a white and blue one. I was also out in mine at the time, not as rare as I thought!!!

I saw one in dark blue (abyss?) near Copthorne in Surrey a couple of weeks ago. A dull rainy day its front lights were so bright & distinctive I spotted it a mile away.

Still haven’t seen one other than mine in the wild.

Only other one I've seen in the wild was a mile or so away from the dealer when I collected mine, so almost certainly someone on a test drive

Had to drive all the way to the Scottish borders for our first spot! It was brief and I was far too excited to recall accurately, but I think it had yellow film on the lamps...

(Sept 23rd or 24th, somewhere between the M74 and Edinburgh, or somewhere near Loch Lomond, if it was you (and we were in a Bleu de France car). I suspect if you remember it for anything, it will have been for the over enthusiastic flashing of lights - sorry.)

I've seen three, or possibly the same one three times, all blue, so I had thought they were all blue until I saw an article on here earlier this year.

'taken a long time but finally!!!! 2 days after collecting my GT it was great to exchange a friendly wave with an Alpine Blue 110 late yesterday afternoon on the road north out of Bishops Waltham.

One suspect identified on the owners list but let me know if you'd like to meet up

I've seen two passing through Whitchurch, Hampshire and neither time I was in my own car!

Also saw the Liquid Yellow one in Richmond the other week, looked incredible.

I've not seen one on the road outside of a couple in London a few years.

But then after meeting up with 4 owners in Bury St Edmunds two weekends ago, I saw one this weekend in BSE Waitrose car park.

Spotted Alpine Blue A110 on the A14 westbound at Claydon at approx 23:00 hrs on Saturday . The rear lights are very distinctive in the dark. Private reg on the car. Shame i was in my daily.

Saw a yellow one on the M4 Friday afternoon heading west past Reading, the front end is very distinctive amongst all the other cars on the road.

I noticed the 'spotted' posts so far have been quite location specific, and adding to them seemed odd - so thought of creating a general thread for folk like me, who get far too excited about seeing Alpine Fwends out in the wild. Bit naff possibly, but I guess it'll just fizzle out if not of great interest.

No fewer than two spots yesterday heading down from Scotchland (previously I've seen only one, ever, outside of events):

- Mercury Silver LGT, M74 Northbound (reg may have included HTH (I will delete this if desired))

- White Pure, M6 Northbound (reg looked like a press plate, ending PNE)

Anybody on here?

Saw an Alpine Blue one in one of the supercar parking areas at FOS yesterday - MY22 with a Life110 rear spoiler.

Also saw one in the wild today, first in a long time - Tulip Noir heading East along the A303 near Stonehenge.
