👍
Driven one and liked it although I do think 50k is a bit steep for the engine and spec.

It's not cheap I agree, but I think you've got to look past that, it's a brand new design and drives better than much more expensive cars,

I couldn't afford one at £40K, but I'd be up for a minimalist spec one with just decent seats and light wheels.

Only seen them in the showroom look fantastic, my sons (3&5) clambered in and started messing with all the controls so I dragged them out pretty quickly so didn’t get chance to sit in one.

Well went to goodwood yesterday and have to say these cars are just as good round the track as they are round the country lanes, again sublime, I really can’t emphasise enough how well these little beasts go!!!! Even had a blast round in the cup car but the standard car was not far off that pace imho! Had a great day and hit 45mpg on way back.

Lovely car! Saw one at 2017 Goodwood FOS, couldn’t believe how pretty it looked and how “right” the proportions were.

Managed to get a photo of the outside but the guy in attendance wouldn’t let me take one of the inside.

I'm with you I picked up mine two weeks ago have done 500 miles and think it's awesome. I thought it was good value after driving but agree £50k is hardly cheap and spec on paper looks light.

I was impressed at how much effort Alpine put into Tuesday but they must have been expecting more people. They forgot to invite middle aged R26.R owners LOL so I went anyway.

Impressive car, I obviously like the philosophy and thought the build quality of the cars was very good. Enjoyable banter with one or two about to place an order.

I like it, the price thing is the buyers problem at the end of the day. I'd sooner have this than a 4C put it that way

Regardless, 1100kg and 250hp should make for a nice drive, I dont think the dual clutch would be any problem in this car and they will be rare as hell among a sea of business lease grey saloons these days.

Get a readers thread up, dont be shy to post up plenty of pics either youve left me wanting to see more.

Very nice op the only thing I don’t like about them is the lack of a manual box, but a lovely car all the same, if I was in the market for that type of car it would be my choice all day long

The double clutch gearbox is good in this car, and track mode with flappy paddles is great!! Within driving a few yards you know your in something special, it’s so light but sure footed, very responsive which makes for good legal fun, and plenty of driver engagement so for me no manual not a major issue. I think we will see other manufacturers copy but the a110 history sits well with me, and the reaction from other drivers is very positive and refreshing in comparison to the same old cars we all see

That looks gorgeous!

It seems from all those who have bought them that it's not a car you judge merely on the individual items on the spec sheet, and is something that is enjoyable and fun to drive even at sane speeds.

I'd love one, but will slum it with the A310 for the time being. Of course, were Renault NZ to feel the need to loan me one.... wink

A good friend of mine has one and I was blown away by it when I saw it, I had reservations about what it would be like to sit in regards quality. I didn't need to worry though and the interior was lovely and the seats are stunning.

I revved it at idle and I think they've done a great job with the noise too, I'm a big fan for sure. Not been out for a ride/drive yet but I'm sure I'll be very impressed when I do.

Enjoy yours OP. thumbup

Thought I’d try it in the smoke today,,,,,the cabin is a great place to be even in traffic!! Lots of questions from people today who haven’t seen or even heard of the Alpine, also a very disappointed m3 owner who was very surprised to say the least

Brilliant to see a car being used on track and on the road and working in both environments, it's quite rare to achieve such versatility!
