Wing Corrosion MY and Mileage?
Discussion
I had one done at the London Alpine centre, the other at Banbury. Both were good jobs - but the London centre took forever (but that was, at least in part because they were unhappy with their paint shop). The London centre has now moved and may be using a different paint shop. The Banbury centre was much more recent, so perhaps a more reliable indicator.
My car is Alpine Blue - so do I get a chocolate frog?

Although I'm Cheshire based, I'm prepared to go anywhere to get my car sorted properly as the last thing I want is to have as poor a job done as James' car above. So given that, who has had a good corrosion repair job done? Additional points if it was on Alpine Blue
Martins in Winchester have a body shop in Basingstoke that did mine back in 2021 and they did an excellent job.bcr5784 said:

Banbury is my 4th closest dealer so that could be an option, thanks. When did you have the work done?

Equally I've posted before about the problems I had with mine there. Looks ok second time around and with the replaced rear lights though....
Interesting. What happened to your rear lights? Mine now have tiny white paint spots or compound ‘dust’ inside the actual light units. worldwidewebs said:

This year - around April. I get the impression that Alpine are tight on costings for the repair. It was some months before Banbury could do the job because the quotes from paint shop(s) were higher than Alpine would accept.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

I've just had my 4 arches done via Mark at Solihull. Alpine blue PE and I can't fault the work. Courtesy A110, work carried out at body shop in Birmingham in 10 days. There was some fine white compound dust all over my engine cover but everything else was spot on. I saw the invoice and it was a little under £3K. Cockyj said:
