The A110 Photo Thread
Discussion
I'm new to Alpine ownership having just returned from a driving weekend around Wales and thought I'd share a photo.
The car drove like a champ and was very composed over the Brecons. A cracking little sports car, I'm well chuffed.![driving](/inc/images/driving.gif)

This is Asturias / Galica... so West from Santander. Misses is Spanish so we have a house there. The highway west from Santander is fast and mostly camera free and completely traffic free. There are endless empty well tarmacked mountain roads back from the coast so loads of choice. The roads up from the highway to the Picos are also spectacular for views and driving - although maybe not both at the same time. To be honest any road that points uphill is fun - in fact about to sample one of them this afternoon - Ribadeo to Taramundi on the N642 and then a little windy one to Taramundi. The North West of Spain really is unspoiled and quite empty - but the weather can be variable. It can feel like Mordor...

Ah man the Picos de Europa have wonderful roads. Did a road trip through there on the way to my missus' house near Coruna (hello neighbour)! in 2012 in my first MX5. Would have loved to have done it again in the Alpine. Come to think of it, all that route from San Sebastien was pretty good. We dropped further south on the return leg, running through Lugo and Las Medulas (Stunning and super interesting) before heading north through France again

Were you sailing out of Plymouth on Sunday? We were in one of the white MX5s and saw a thunder grey Alpine in the queue. So far I'm deeply underwhelmed by the Picos roads. Heading for the Pyrenees via San Sebastien for next week, hoping for slightly better (first time in the Picos, but I've done the Pyrenees a couple of times before).James Elmer said:
Ooh nice! Please tell us more! Which route(s) have you taken? I’m planning to visit next spring, taking in the route that Henry Catchpole did in his A110S review. James.
Those roads were Serra da Estrela in Portgual, a lot furrther over (if It's the review I'm thinking of)Gassing Station | Alpine | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
