Alpine A110 owners
Discussion
I've only tried Flux twice, but they were awful both times. First was when I was thinking of buying a Lotus Europa SE - they told me they didn't insure classic cars (the website said they did) and the second was the Alpine, which they insisted was an Alpina, and eventually brutally overpriced...
Not going to waste my time with them again.

I've had customers say that Admiral are particularly good for their A110s. Not going to waste my time with them again.
Thanks both.
However I may yet fall out with the dealer lol.
Had a call last night to say the only Alpine tech they have is off today and won't be able to PDi the car. It also has a semi flat battery having been a showroom car and apparently they can't change it for a reason they can't explain.
I paid the deposit over a week ago but they dragged their heels a bit sorting the rest and have now backed themselves into a corner.
Suggested they come up with a solution which they say they have but judging by recent performance the deal could yet unravel..
Hopefully there will be a good outcome for all and pics will follow!

So were you able to drive away? Looks great, the dealer needs to look after you as can't imagine people are falling over themselves to buy one at the moment.
A110 GT at Hampton Court apparently, one of 400. I was hoping to see one in Alpine blue.
Yes drove away, dealer came up trumps in the end after a bit of persuasion yesterday. And yes not many takers currently.A110 GT at Hampton Court apparently, one of 400. I was hoping to see one in Alpine blue.

I see group Renault F1 team becomes the Alpine F1 team next season! I wonder if they’ll be any complimentary tickets for Alpine owners
That can only be good for brand awareness. 2 years in and people still come and ask me what it is - or assume it's a BMW.We had a look at the new A110 GT at the Hampton Court concours show. Very smart looking in a unique silver colour and special gold and silver wheels.
Wasn't so keen on the brown interior but it may be possible to option that in black. My favourite is still the Alpine blue and parked next to the GT was a beautiful Berlinette one of the last models and owned by the Renault heritage collection.
