Hey everyone,
This week was rather exciting as I got the opportunity to drive the all new Toyota Prius, thanks to Helensburgh Toyota.
The new generation is currently plugin hybrid only, it uses a 2.0l petrol engine + hybrid = 223bhp (which felt brisk, I believe mid 6 second range).

The weather was not on my side the day that I drove it but the car handled the strong winds and very wet tarmac well.
Anyways, I would love to hear your thoughts?

I like the looks, shame that it is only coming to the UK in PHEV version rather than full hybrid.

It's both PHEV and normal hybrid if the PHEV battery isn't charged, so in effect a full hybrid.
I like it, it's quite stylish, economical and quick.
Is it quick when not fully charged though?

at a significant premium over a non-PHEV version ... Plus then it lugging around extra deadweight.

I think these look great - they did a really good job of the styling imho.
