Relax Warranty - anyone claimed for window guide scratches?
Discussion
Hi,
I have a 2017 GT86, which is covered by the Relax warranty since the initial 5 year manufacturers warranty has run out. The driver's window has vertical scratches, which the internet informs me is due to window guides losing a bit of foam or plastic, and allowing metal-to-glass contact. People on forums (fora??) have had the guides and window replaced under warranty, BUT this appears to have happened during the initial 5 year warranty.
The Ts&Cs for the Relax warranty are here. It doesn't really mention windows in "What Does Toyota Relax Cover", and then says "any parts not explicitly mentioned in these terms" under items that aren't covered, which doesn't sound very encouraging.
Has anyone had any experience of claiming for this under the Relax warranty? It's a £95 gamble if I take it in and they decide it isn't their problem.
Thanks for any insight.
