Warning lights and MOT

I've got my MOT in a few weeks on my 14 plate Aygo.

I've currently got my engine warning light and the car skidding light on my dash lit up.

This is nothing new for my vehicle, after driving in a heavy downpour with large puddles these lights often come on and remain on for a few weeks. I presume one of my sensors gets wet and takes a while to dry out.

Questions:
1) will my car pass it's MOT if these lights are showing on my dash?
2) anyone know a way to make them go away quicker/potentially dry out/reset a sensor?

1 probably not
2 fix your car, properly. Plug in a code reader, find out what is wrong and ether replace the part, or in your case check for water ingress to a connector somewhere and replace the connector and make sure it's sealed properly. Or pay someone competent to do it.
Why is everyone so obsessed with shortcuts, halfbaked non fixes and fkery? The roads are shared, knowingly driving cars with fked safety systems is a dick move, and it has caused enough accidents that they made it part of the mot. Same with the people who buy linglong tyres, we need a clearout on the roads.
