Lexus RX450h (2012) or NX300h(2014)
Discussion
Hi everyone,
Planning to get an SUV but can't decide which one as the title. It will be approved used so both will have warranty but 450h obviously has lower price, and I like the engine size! Any of you used both or only one of them for a specific time that can actually recommend which one to go? It will be used as a daily for us mostly, inner London area and potentially abroad travelling in summers. We have used our IS250 for years now, so pretty much used to the brand and had a few test drives already for both UX and NX.
Thanks!

I've had a 450h for almost 2 years and am very happy with it.
I've driven across France, into Germany and Switzerland once, and another time to just France, and found it very comfortable for long journeys, probably the most comfortable car I've driven. If you take a lot of luggage you'll appearciate the extra space too.
For a big car I find that it accelerates pretty quickly, more than enough for comfortable overtaking. I also quite like the eCVT with it's immediate acceleration and no hesitation between gear changes of a traditional auto. Overall the car is comfortable, quiet and reliable.
I live in London, and don't find it too cumbersome, and have averaged around 31 mpg in mixed driving. Mine's a 3rd gen but newer ones are better. On motorways I get around 35 mpg at 70-80, or 40 mpg if I cruise along at 60-65.
