Toyota Corolla Liftback (K) 1993/4 replacement window
Discussion
Hullo all! I'm new here. Enjoying reading everyone's posts so thought I'd join in! I'll check for other posts and if relevant one exists, I'll remove this.
My beloved Tarah Toyota Corolla Liftback K plate got attacked by Buckfast swigging youth(s) just after New Year last year. Lost a rear window pane. Very sad, it's my Grandpa's old car. I absolutely love it as its smooooooth, reliable, comfortable, spacious and of sentimental value. She got me through some tough times.
Problem is I can't find replacement glass!!
Autoglass - hopeless. Toyota - hopeless. Other places - hopeless. Here was me thinking it would be easy enough.
Do I buy another old one (rare) for parts or say goodbye? Or drive in dry summer (in Scotland???!)?
Whole car could do with a little restoration too but no one got back to me from one restoration place so gave up at the time.
Advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
D

Sorry to hear that.
If new rear glass is not available new from the usual suspects that you have already tried, second-hand from a breaker is prob your best bet.
Bit of searching involved however. Unlikely to be many of those cars left.
Getting glass for older cars can be a real problem. At least its not the windscreen!
