Has anyone ever put the t sport engine and box into the older E11 Corolla wondering if I'd experience any issues along the way and obviously the loom to suit aswell

It's not worth it at all. You can get the engine for £700, then you the ECU amongst a million other bits. By the time you've bought it all you then need to fit it or pay someone. This could be anywhere from £1500 to £3000. Buy a Corolla T Sport instead. You get a moderner car and the engine. A facelift car will set you back around £1700.

Or you can buy a Celica T Sport or 190 if you want a coupe.

I had a Corolla T Sport and loved it. Wish I never sold it as it were a total sleeper car.

If I were you go drive one and if you like it buy it.

Any engine swap will get expensive but if you like the way an older car handles it can be cheaper than chasing power in the original engine. I love my engine swapped MK1 MR2, it's got a 1mzfe V6 with trd supercharger kit
