Anyone fitted LED replacements Celica ?
Discussion
Have a blown bulb, and the standard setup are truly awful on dipped beam, so want to try LED replacements.
Ignoring the fact they are a total arse ache to change, I dlike to think they will be both brighter and last longer.
Ebay and the 'zon are awash with chinky tat, anybody recommend some ?
TIA.

I've been looking into these for a while (hoping to see a useful guide on installing these on older cars) as I fancy some in my MR2 Roadster.
From what I've seen, some trimming of the headlamp may be required.
Beam pattern is an issue for many older cars, as I believe projector lamps are more suited than standard lenses.
My seventh gen Celica (2003) didn't have a great deal of room behind the lamps, so the depth of the fitting including heat sink/fan may pose problems.
Decent equipment seems to start around £100
