Soarers - opinions/experience?
Discussion
Strongly considering a lexus/toyota soarer as my next barge. Do hardly any miles in the dc5 and it feels like its going to waste. looks like you can pick a decent soarer up for 4-5k these days and i've always fancied one.
what are they like to drive? Reliability? any common issues to look out for?
I would be going for an auto so that the wife can use it too...quite fancy the 4l v8 as i haven't owned a v8 before.
would probably only do 2000 miles a year so MPG isn't an issue.
Any prev or current owner opinions welcomed.
thx!

The 1UZ is pretty much bulletproof. Mechanically the only problem that comes to mind is the air suspension on the top end model - this needs more maintenance than a traditional suspension setup. And rust - same as pretty much any other 90's Japanese car that's lived in the UK most of its live.
