Enhance, who make the S3XY Buttons and S3XY Knob programmable controllers, have come up with column stalks for the 2024 Model 3 'Highland'. Like the buttons and knob they're programmable to do lots of things other than indicator controls. Looks interesting.

It's a pretty naff reality when you have to pay extra to an aftermarket bunch just to get your car with a normal indicator stalk.

This dumb idea appears to have legs.

Looks like there are indicator stalk options on AliExpress. Good old Chinese filling gaps in the market!

My Cerbera has the horn button on the steering wheel arms. This is a spectacularly stupid idea. You have no chance of finding it if someone cuts you up on a roundabout, for example.

If I bought a Tesla so-equipped I would factor the cost of this in.

The Model 3 indicator stalk is coming back, but only in China (for now?)

Bring back the stalk mounted horn button. Bliss.

I'm sure that will eventually return for UK cars too.

The system works better on the Ferrari as it has one button on each side - the Tesla system is much more confusing, especially if you're going round a corner and then want to use an indicator.

Just read that stalks are coming back and can be fitted to Highland Model 3s. Cost is estaimated at around £/$ 350 fitted. I agree it's crazy to pay extra for stalks but for some (including me) it might be difference between buying a new Model 3 or not.
