Congrats - what other BEVs have you previously owned?

Enjoy

I was surprised how quick the handover was. In and out if the tesla centre in 5 minutes!

I don't expect I'll be that quick... I'm planning to give it good and proper inspection before I sign for it. I know they're better than their reputation, but I still want to tick all the boxes before I sign my life away. smile

I'm picking up a pov white rwd with white seats in a couple of weeks too. It will be my first EV and quite a change from the 2007 Lexus I've been driving which is also the newest car I've ever owned.

Had a test drive at 2 different showrooms and was just impressed with all round package, even though I hate touchscreens in cars, at least this one is very quick and snappy. I deliberately drove into potholes and the way the suspension coped was impressive, barely felt it.

Looking forward to cheap and comfy commuting.

You must now leave Pistonheads, no petrol in your veins any more.

Picked up mine today! Stereo seems better than I remember from the test drive, set all my stuff and octopus go. Got a free weekend coming up so might go somewhere reasonably far away to see how it is.

Nice one. Enjoy. 😊

I cancelled mine, still awaiting return of deposit.
Since bought a used i4; very happy with my decision.

Oh dear what made you change your mind? I've been loving mine so far, although there is a lot of random little things I'm having to Google because it's not obvious.

Deposit refunded this morning. smile

It was a few things, but mainly they delayed my delivery until (probably) mid-September, but I would still get a 24 plate, not 74.

I was chatting with BMW to discuss return of my i3 and they mentioned a used loaded i4 which they could do a deal on. Very impressed with t so bought it. Simple as that really.

IMO it's a far 'better' car (it should be for the price), though I accept Tesla has more features and potential as a BEV.

Oh yeah I'm sure the i4 drives better, the 3 is bit like trying to get a shopping trolley round bends sometimes but the instant torque makes up for it. For me it seemed like a great balance of price, performance and range, buying new getting the long warranty.
