"The new Tesla Cyberoadster offers open air motoring to Tesla customers for the first time.
Weighing in at just 2530kg and with 1014 BHP on tap the top of the range convertible Tesla Cyberoadster Beast has three electric motors, similar to the recently introduced Tesla Cybertruck, but with two separate motor housings at the rear of the car which extend above the low slung aerodynamic bodywork to meet form with function and also act as roll over protection whilst aiding airflow over the back of the car.
Offering all wheel drive, the Cyberoadster maintains Tesla's drive by wire steering and has an innovative convertible roof which emerges not from the rear of the car but instead slides out from under the long angular bonnet on four ultra-slim hydraulic rams, each powered by one of the world's smallest 32cc two stroke motors.
Unlike the Cybertruck's Stainess Steel finish the Cyberoadster is available at launch in Stained Steel, in a fetching shade of "Pea Yellow" with contrasting "Peat Black" interior.
Due for launch 2nd quarter 2024, a thinly disguised production Cyberoadster was spotted out and about whilst testing in the UK of all places.
