Working on a Model 3

Sorry if this has been answered before. But a friend of mine has asked me if I can do some work on his Model 3. He needs some rear suspension bushes replacing. I'm a confident mechanic but I've never worked on a electric car. I'm presuming working on suspension is far enough away from all the electric bits, but I just wanted to know from people who may know themselves what it's like working on them.

Just be careful when you jack the car up. Make sure you use some Tesla specific 'jack pucks'. There are locating holes in the sills into which the 'pucks' go. Your friend should have some. If not, rubber pucks are relatively inexpensive (you can get slightly more expensive metal pucks).

The rear motor and some electrical connections will be quite visible when you take the wheels off but shouldn't cause you any problems.

The rear suspension is a multi-link set up so nothing particularly unusual.

Thanks for your replies, I'll be having a look over it on the weekend and hopefully it looks like Powerflex are the easiest bushes to get hold of.
