Apple maps imagery - Tesla iOS app Vs Apple maps Vs find my
Discussion
I know it's not important, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed the following.
Apple maps imagery appears the same as apple find my (as you would expect)
BUT.. If I open the iOS version of the Tesla app and click on location and enable satellite view things get odd.
The imagery is much more up to date on the Tesla app compared to Apple maps and find my. If anything id expect them to be the same OR the Tesla app to be behind, certainly not the other way around.
Note: the imagery for satellite view in the Tesla app is watermarked with an Apple logo and the word "maps".
Has anyone else noticed this?

Tesla use openstreetmap in a kind of night time mode. This is Birmingham service centre

Why the apple logo, I've no idea, I think apple may use the same source but in a lower resolution.
