Will hopefully sort out the awful 'upturned-lips' ugly front end. Better batteries and motors are welcome, as are better seats. I'll need convincing about the lack of stalks and the fully-electric 'steer by wire' though.

Currently a '22 LR owner (well, 18m into a 36m lease). If it looks to be a step on I'm interested in a Performance one of these next.

I guess they’ll be available October time?

As 0% interest PCP on new 3s @ 40k odd , until the end of September..

A tough choice. Current 3 at a ‘bargain’ price.

Or no doubt list price & interest when the updated one comes out..

Almost pulled the trigger on a new Model 3 Performance a few weeks back but got cold feet due to the imminient release of the 'facelift' Highland.

Not in any rush here so happy to wait to see what improvements have been made. Hopefully new colour choices, improved battery, better performance, sharper styling, and the updated hardware 4 to name a few.

Imagine values of used ones will take a significant nose dive once Highland is released. Might be a good time to pounce for those who don't care.

Very tempted by a Performance given the 0% PCP offer on at the moment. Had a ride in my mates 23 plate, he had a 20 plate LR dual motor before that and the new one feels much better built and I was really impressed with it. At £1500 down and £600 per month for 12k miles it's much cheaper than my works salary sacrifice scheme cost (which was £850 when I ran the quote yesterday!). Even taking into account that I'd have to pay for my own insurance and maintenance it still works out much cheaper on the Tesla finance.

That is quite tempting. The SR looks amazingly cheap too. Just time thinking if it might just be the better option long term? Any owners have an opinion?

I’m about to pull the trigger on SR PCP
£1 deposit, £454 a month, 0% interest. Intend paying the balance to own @ year 4.
Sell my old Skoda for 6k, get done interest on that.

I doubt i’ll be able to afford again as a private buyer. The Highland is bound to be marginally better, but I bet it won’t be reduced via the inventory or 0% for a few years..

The pcp figures have all gone up today! Looks like an adjustment downwards on the future value. Difference is c.£100 per month across the board :-(

Ive been checking for the last couple of days seem the same my end? Only thing is the rwd long range models are double over the normal 4wd long range which is weird?

If you're looking at the PCP figures, then their "representative example" has a balloon payment of £0!

The Performance has gone up by £143 per month from the quote I did earlier this week, which sadly puts it in the "you must be joking" level of monthly payment for me.

I see what you mean
Monthly cost up
Balloon payment down
Still 0% if you plan on buying at the end of the term though..

I still had the old tab open so decided to give it a go..

Got a confirmed order, but nothing in writing about the payments.

Of course when I had paid the £200 and gone through to the finance bit the new figures were there.

Called Tesla this morning, the guy said that they have had a few calls and that there is something wrong with the website, and will ask Tesla Manchester to call me back.

I'll update when I hear back..

Had to look up what this ‘Highland’ thread is all about. Apparently it’s the codename for the Tesla Model 3 refresh/facelift project.

I ordered a Model 3 RWD a week or so ago. There’s a nice bit of additional discount on the ex-demo cars with a handful of miles. They don’t stick around for long though. There’s a Telegram group that alerts when new inventory is added - https://t.me/teslauknewinventory

It’s also worth speaking to a showroom as they have access to inventory before it reaches the public site. That’s how I found the car I ordered. It’s done 1000 miles, and will have 6 months less warranty, but was £6k cheaper and came with more options.

Likewise using a referral link from a friend for £500 off your order.

Working out what a ‘partial premium’ interior means in 2023 is very confusing. It looks like the ‘base’ cars now get the better stereo with subwoofers.

Check insurance prices in advance too, they’re a bit silly for Teslas at the moment.

Looking at Highland pictures, it seems that it really is just a front and rear bumper change, so a proper facelift with little else?

I was hoping for the rear boot to be a hatch like the Model Y as this would make the 3 a lot easier for holidays and the like!

I think that would require a serious redesign and as you say this is a facelift of the existing model.

They changed finance companies on Wednesday and Black Horse are being far more realistic with the GFV.
