Hi all. I’m contemplating a model s from 2018 but it has white seats which I would normally avoid as the mrs had a fiat 500 with white seats and her blue jeans just left them in a mess within weeks.

Has anyone any experience with the Tesla white seats from that age and what they’re like to live with?

Thanks all.

There are some with white seats well up over 100,000 miles. The plastic leather they use in the Tesla seems to clean up quite well.

Mine has white seats and is almost a year old with 15k miles.

A quick clean every week or so with a damp cloth, they are still like new.

Nearly 2.5 years and 24k in, seats are like new. I use baby wipes every now and again. I wouldn't hesitate to get white again.

Before I ordered white seats on my 3 I checked several videos out, looked like the only real threat to them are jeans and dye transfer.

I know my granddaughter is in a child seat and regularly has her shoes up against the white back of the rear seat, it just wipes off with a baby wipe…..

White plastic tends to last quite long in any setting. 60k miles, 5.5 years old, rear seat is used daily our 6 year old. I've never used any kind of seat cover, I clean the interior once every 3-4 months.

Brill thanks guys. It was purely the blue from jeans that I’m concerned about as I wear them constantly.

It's essentially white plastic, you can essentially industrial strength bleach + UV sunlight will get rid of pretty much any stain over time.

I got the dog after the car with white seats. To be fair even just a damp cloth does a good job on it. I'll use proper leather cleaner on the stitches at some point but its fine. I also think it really helps make the cabin less gloomy.
