Hello - wondering if the Tesla group can help with what is, I am sure, a silly question.
I have ordered a model Y and received a text message with my RN order reference number. I thought I would enter this in the Tesla App somewhere to see an estimated delivery date. However, I have created an account, but can’t see anywhere to enter the order.
Am I being dense, or is there somewhere else I use the RN number to track order status? I see screen prints on some forums that clearly show an estimated delivery date…..

When you ordered your Tesla, you will have been given an 'estimated' delivery date. The RN number is just an order Reservation Number. Tesla will contact you again and will provide you with a VIN number once you are 'matched' to a vehicle. You'll then get another estimated but more accurate delivery date. If you want to, I believe you can ask Tesla to give you your VIN number once you've been matched. I'm told you can then track your actual car in transit. I didn't bother personally because it seemed a bit pointless. I have ordered a model Y and received a text message with my RN order reference number.
