Some apps have an assumed price built in for example if you charge at home it has no idea what the price is but will calculate it for you. There will be a p/kWh in the app somewhere it uses for this. You probably have 26p/kWh set.
Thanks. I guessed it was something like that but I haven't charged at home which is why I was confused. I've only been using the free charge points local to me. I'm therefore surprised the App assumes a price for charging. CharlieAlphaMike said:

The app assumes a default charging cost for home, SC, other charging sites. Go the the settings options at the bottom of the charging page to setup. The Tesla app has no additional information on charging costs apart from SC costs, so you have to setup the values.For the last 30 days am on over 1MWh for less than £20 .
