Airport parking and valet mode

Hi and hope someone can help with a newb Tesla question please.

I will spare you the backstory, but if i were to place the car into valet mode, hand it over to the parking people etc. would they also need. key card so as to return the car to me when required? If so, would that enable them to override the valet mode? I assume not as I understand I have to input a pin but wanted to check if I was missing something?

Put in valet mode and give them the key card. They can’t take it out of valet without the PIN. It also prevents the glovebox and frunk from being opened.
