Hi all, I ordered a model 3 performance (grey, dark interior, no FSD) in January and was told to expect delivery in March. March came and went and I've been told May but haven't heard anything yet. Tesla Cardiff and Bristol don't seem very communicative. Anyone know anything on the extent of current delays? I'm assuming the covid situation in China has been causing serious problems.

Make sure all your tasks are completed and you can also contact the Tesla dealer to see if you are eligible for a vehicle allocation when those start. The next set of Teslas coming into the UK is currently set for June. There have been suggestions of allocations starting within the next few weeks.

Last time I went in the dealer said everything was complete and they're waiting for my order to be allocated a vehicle, would this indicate 'tasks' are complete? Is there anything else I need to check?

June, bugger. I have a funny feeling when she said May it was a bit of a hail Mary!

It was May until the Shanghai thing happened and then they all got pushed out to June. There have been texts sent out to everyone (but not at the same time) mentioning the June dates. You should also see an EDD in your Tesla account but this may not have been updated to reflect the recent June message.

It sounds like you are good to go if they say all tasks are complete and you are eligible for allocation. Welcome to the club! I’m also going for an M3P in the exact same config as you.

Ah, I see you are a fellow of impeccable tastes!

Haven't had any texts at all from Tesla, the only indication of dates I've ever had is when I walk in there and pin someone down. They don't seem to answer calls or emails very reliably. Also you mention I should see the EDD on the Tesla account, where do I see that? When I log into the Tesla app or website I can't see any acknowledgement of my order anywhere.

Did you order directly with Tesla? You should have an RN number and all the details of your order via the Tesla app. I did my order online so it was all setup then.

Really looking forward to mine. I was blown away by a friends M3P.

No it's a lease with a third party, I have the RN number but I assume they receive the updates.

That makes sense. If you have the RN number Tesla might give you an update otherwise they will just send you to the lease company.

How did it go? I noticed the latest vehicles this quarter have more power compared to the vehicles from the last quarter, 393kw vs 377kw

Crikey, that's 527hp. Feels like it!

Delivery came as promised, chap with a truck dropped it off at my house. Couple of minor initial glitches fixed by updating and rebooting and it's been perfect since. Only minor issue is the wheels are unbelievably easy to kerb, going to get some alloygators on asap.

Yours arrived yet?

Yes I’ve got mine. I then drove to Le Mans and back in it. Already on 800 miles!

I know what you mean about the tyres. A colleague who also has an M3P pointed at my tyres and said they have a bigger lip than the ones that came out only a few months ago. I had heard there was an update to the Pirelli tyres to try and provide more protection. They still feel vulnerable though. I’ll likely need to get some touch up paint just in case. The car feels incredible. It really slams you back and punches you with the acceleration.

There is a fair lip on the tire but obviously not enough, that said I've only scraped the very edge of the wheel so perhaps it's doing more than nothing. I'm going to get some black alloygators fitted to protect the alloys, I've got a set and they look like they're fit for purpose so now I'm waiting on a fitter. I got the dark grey originally but they're lighter than the uberturbine alloys so I swapped them for black. I'll report back when fitted.
