I'm tempted by a Model Y, not because of it's looks more because it's a hatchback, I have test driven a Kia EV6 and Polestar, but where can a test drive in a Model Y be arranged as I'm buggered if I can see it on the Tesla website?

One came past me the other day and the tyre roar was awful, when are they going to fix that?

Surely this is something like 95% the tyre fitted and 5% the car. So never!

It cannot be any worse than a comparable vehicle as they all have to pass the same drive by noise testing, and what does it matter unless your inferring the interior tyre noise is excessive?

There is a reason the facelift Model Y and 3 have double glazing all round, the road noise can be bad.

Didn’t notice a significant issue. Nobody I know who has one has reported elevated road noise.

It’s possibly subjectively more noticeable as the rest of the drivetrain is very quiet.
