I've been getting quotes in the range of £1,000 which is a bit of a shock as a 30 odd year old, similar non ev cars only cost me around £350 a year!

About £600 and I have a speeding ticket. Direct Line seemed the cheapest

Another reason to stick with ICE it seems.

I currently insure my 2015 BMW 528i with Saga for £175, they wanted £364 for a 2019 Tesla 3.

My cheapest Tesla 3 quote was Lloyds at £314.

I am lucky to live in a low risk area.

£1200 for their comprehensive plus policy. Maybe it goes down after the first year.

£480 ish for 2021 M3 LR with LV.

Peugeot as supposedly the cheapest atm, backed by the same underwriter as Direct line.

a £54k valued car versus a 6 year old BMW though. Their payout is much higher on any brand new car.

Maybe but the biggest element of insurance payouts, so I am led to believe , is for third party claims.

I got quotes for a newer BMW valued around £40k when I was looking for mine and the premium was only a few £'s more, still under £200.

About £400 for mine with full no claims.

When I first got it and looked online, quotes were £800+. I think LV is a competitive insurer to speak to directly

Definitely not for me, for a man in his 40s. £1450 from LV.

Cheapest quote I've got today is £760. A few under £800. Fully comp with 5 years no claims.

So just got my policy as picking my car up next week.

Amended the policy to add an extra 3000 miles a year to it. Unticked the tracker as it’s not a thatcham.

Quote goes from £760 to £600.

Not sure I’ll ever fully understand the insurance industry. Still, one more thing sorted.

Just renewed mine with Direct Line. £638 for 12,000 miles.

I have max no claims and live in a middle of nowhere location.

It was £511 for 7,000 miles, but I put it up as I use the T a lot.

I hear Peugeot insurance comes in extremely cheap, I had already sorted mine before they became popular.
