2017 Model S 12v Battery
Discussion
Hi all, I'm getting a message on my dash saying the 12v battery needs replacing.
When I go onto Halfords website, and put in my reg, there's supposedly no compatible batteries.
Where else can I buy one from (I'm 60 miles from my nearest Service Centre)? Or has anyone bought a Halfords one? They can't be anything special, it doesn't even look that big!
Thanks for any help!

They're a specialist deep cycle battery, they're designed for continuous drain, not CCA as in a conventional ICE Lead acid. When I go onto Halfords website, and put in my reg, there's supposedly no compatible batteries.

Until the aftermarket suppliers are better setup, I would advise going to tesla.
This is the only aftermarket one I am aware of:

But a replacement Lead acid from Telsa is likely to be cheaper, the ohmmu is lithium vs lead acid and in theory should last longer, so I'm guessing it depends whether you want to invest in the car or not.
