I am Just about to order a model 3 with the following options

Silver paint
19” alloys
Upgraded interior (what looks like white seats)

The question is how do the seats hold up after a year or so?
Do they suffer from discolouration due to dark clothing?

I am more than happy to clean them every week if needed.

It will be on a 3 year company lease.

Thanks.

They will obviously get far dirtier and require more regular cleaning than a black interior to keep them looking good but as they aren't actual leather shouldn't be too bad.

Just avoid indigo denim jeans..

Have a look on YouTube, there are quite a few videos on there covering how they wear - it’s fine, they just need an occasional clean.

Yeah, they arent leather now. So you can use stronger cleaning stuff on them to bring them back to original condition. And you dont need to do the whole leather conditioning thing either. But as others have mentioned, they seem to hold up well but will attract pretty much any muck or color that brushes near them.

To be honest, never really understood the need to fit leather to everything - so many synthetic materials available now that are easier to clean, prove to be longer lasting and are available in different types and formats.

As off-again says, white plastic is easy to clean. It’s not a plastic table cloth but at a molecular level the seats have more in common with one than they do a cow.

100%. Will still look a lot grubbier unless you are cleaning it very regularly though.

Lots of advice on this on the Tesla U.K. owners FB group….. main thing is carry some wet wipes in the car and avoid blue jeans…or any other jeans that warn of dye colour transfer.

Up to now mine are 6 months old, I’ve wiped them over occasionally and the odd black mark comes off easily.

I’m putting an isofix seat in the back from time to time and the rear seat shows no sign of it at all.

Sim really glad I went for white, they look great and with easy care maintain it.

Always have a bit of regret not going for them on mine tbh! Went for black as per the missus advice.
From what I've heard/seen they wear really well.
