time of delivery from first text? also delivery Q

I'm getting a model 3LR as a company car due to the cheap lease costs and BIK.

from when the order went in to me getting my first text, it took a week. how long after that till you get a vin/proper delivery date? I know they're showing December online for delivery.

Also, there's a good chance I'll be away for some of November, will they just be able to drop it on the drive and post the key card etc etc? in a no faff style?

- Ordered my M3LR on August 26th,
- the VIN was shown in the website code by roughly October 7th.
- I got the text saying I could book a collection appointment on October 14th
- Picking the car up on November 10th.
