App logged itself out ..

Much fun last night when i tried to open the car and found I had been logged out of the poxy app...

Fortunalty because of the rampant scooter driveby mobile phone thefts in london i always carry the card with me, I would have been totally fked without it as the car refused to accept the phone once logged in without the card first... and even then took 4 attempts to get it to drive even with the card

Yep my app was logged out this morning too (Model S).

I bought a quite nice bangle thing that has the Tesla RFID chip inside it, for that very reason.... also worth having a partner with the app on his/her phone - even if they're at home, they can authorise the car to be driven.

I did not know you could remotely authorise the car to be driven

Yes controls > start.

Works with Face ID too. I do this sometimes on the way to the car as find it less grating than the pin for some reason.

For the past couple of weeks my car has been downgraded in the app from a Model S Performance to a P100D.
