I’m on the verge of signing on the dotted lines for a 2017 model S. Test drove it and loved it, but totally forgot to consider if the boot was big enough for a baby buggy. My wife has bought one of those 4x4 buggys, it’s like an X5. Do any of you have babies and managed to make the Tesla work as a young family car?

Cheers

No babies here but family of four with a dog. Boot is huge. I had an Audi A7 and I reckon it’s roughly similar sized. Boot is wide - full width of the car on the left hand side - and deep plus there’s extra space under a cover at the rear of the boot - the cover can be repositioned at the base of the space if you need.
I’m sure a pushchair would fit no problem.
Then the froot can be used for nappies, wetwipes, cuddly toys, charging cables...

I too went from a RS7 to a Model S. The boot is great, really big. It will easily fit a big buggy. We have a huge special needs buggy that doesn't fold well and it just sort of fits which means any normal buggy will fit. I can also easily take all 3 kids in the back no problem and they are all pretty big now.

The added bonus is the under boot storage which you can get loads into too. I keep all my cables in the frunk plus some other bits with space to spare (Tesla 13a cable with 32A adapter, type 2 cable, Chademo adapter, CCS adapter, 25m extension lead 13A, tyre repair kit, slime and compressor, jacking blocks).
