Tesla supercharger parking charges

I just wanted to highlight a problem with some superchargers in hotel car parks, that require registration at desk within 10 minutes or you face a £100 parking fine.

After receiving a fine, I appealed and won. Yes it is easy to register, however for me it defeats the point of a seemless charging experience, to have to leave my car and register. It would be trivial for Parkingeye to exclude tesla's.

So I ask, always appeal these fines if you get one. And if you are grumpy like me with nothing better to do, consider sending a whinge Tesla's way too.

You mean destination chargers I assume?

Pretty much the case with all public EV chargers located in similar places and not a Tesla specific issue?

These hotels (generally older sites) eg Washington are listed on Tesla nav as standard superchargers.

I take your point, but I personally place a high value on 'contactless' charging, so it bugs the hell out of me that Tesla let this slip.

But it could be just me.

Apologies, didn't realise they still had supercharger locations such as that. Agree that's a real pain and wouldn't be impressed either.
