So lots of posts on Tesla Model 3 order page opening in UK but as usual loads of talk about not much action.

Might be useful to have a section for those who have actually ordered and waiting delivery....

SR+
Black and black
No options

Cheapest version today £38k (May 1 2019), June delivery at present, non reservation holder.

July 2017 reservation holder.

LR dual motor in grey, black interior and FSD here.

Delivery estimator says June - will see how accurate that is.

Am hoping it is, I suspect Tesla are cranking them out right now and will be shipped ASAP.

Looking fowards to comparing it our X and the Lexus IS - which had a list price of £43k in 2015.

I've gone for the exact same spec apart from the white interior. I'm a March 2016 reservation holder. I wonder if mine will arrive any earlier than yours? :-)
I'd expect you to get yours before me!

Are there any sensible options for financing outside of Tesla? I don't wish to pay cash and the HP doesn't look too attractive. Does the lack of PCP/Lease i.e. finance with GFV reflect the unknown residuals on these cars and/or state of Tesla as a company?

I put a note into the 5000 free supercharger miles thread.

My code : KEVIN74900

Will get you your 5000 free supercharger miles, and into the competition to win a roadster & a founders model Y.

Any questions on charging etc just ask away (I picked up my model X at the end of December 2018)

Tesla finance was original run by Black Horse, now financed by Barclays. I suspect it's just a case of them putting together the finance packages. Tesla have worked with their finance team in the past to put together very compelling finance at the end of / start of the quarter (Model S was down as low as .5% and the X 1.1%)

I'm surprised none of the lease companies have been out to bang the drum on offers.

Should have also mentioned.....my boss who has also just ordered a 3 phoned Tesla UK to discuss the order. He was told that the first deliveries are unlikely to be June, more likely to be July for those that were earlier reservation holders. The order book officially opens on 7th May which is when those that have placed an order will get a more accurate delivery date.

Unclear whether you would be 'bumped' if a whole raft of early reservation holders decided to place orders after you had received a delivery date - assuming you were a late, or non, reservation holder.

Interesting to see the differences in delivery dates between my boss and I - considering he only put his £1000 down three days ago and ordered today....

Ok two things worry me already about refund policy.

Order confirmation states

"If you haven't test driven the car, don't worry, you can return it within 3 days of delivery." Website states 7 days.

Also refund policy states vehicle must not

been the subject of any submission or application for any available incentives or perks;

Does the grant count as incentive? What about BIK etc?

Just login to your account and click the refund button.

Takes about 2 weeks for the money to be returned, I did about 12 months ago, no hassle at all.

Thanks for the update, I think the Tesla UK website went down for a bit today so I would assume orders are been made.

Either way quite excited to try a RWD Tesla drive train in something smaller than a dinning room smile.

I really wouldn't worry, if your one for reading meaning into every letter your go nuts owing a Tesla. Specs/orders/features change all the time, and often with no written confirmation.

I still don't know if anyone is actually paying for 'connectivity' as am sure when the original S was launched unless you had the tech pack that was only a subscription service?? Back 2014 seems like Victorian times when it comes to Tesla spec/orders smile.

Ordered mine too.

Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive Performance
Deep Blue Metallic Paint
Performance Upgrade
20’’ Performance Wheels
Performance Brakes
Carbon Fibre Spoiler
Performance Pedals
Black and White Premium Interior
Autopilot

£58800 in for a penny.....

If any one wants a referral code for 5000 miles of free supercharging use this one:

MARK65088

For info as you can't put the code in on ordering email Tesla - uk_sales@tesla.com with your order number and referral code and they will update your order to have the 5000 miles of free supercharging.

Tesla have said PCP will be available within a couple of weeks. You can order now and change to PCP when available if you're worried about missing the first boatload.

Other PCP options will be available very soon if you're not happy with Tesla's.
