Tranlated using AltaVista's Babelfish, this makes for quite an entertaining read. You got to love the 'quote' from Lee Noble, "we wanted build a car which you not continuously defies."

---
United Kingdom hits back. The new M12 GTO-3R of the small British sportwagenfabrikant Noble gain high praise so far only. Do Porsche have look themselves to will make? AutoWeek.nl went plankgas with the new super sport car. All ingredients are present: fijngetunede ford V6 twin turbo of 3 litres and 352 pk, which lie transversely in the middle of the car and operates the rear wheels. And by the kunstof coachwork the tweezitter also but 1080 weigh kilos. Result: in 3.7 seconden to 100 and in 8.8 the Noble sit already on 160 km/h! Full acceleren are breathtaking. The six barge leaves himself exactly heavily but serves (on 2 after) and never provides you versnel-orgie that stops. It is also striking how moan - and kraakloos this violence all goes. And how smooth the turbokracht come. Control is entirely okay. With feeling what happens there under your, but evengoed very user-friendly. Only the large turn circle makes the Noble unsuitable as a message car. And of course the fact that the Noble, no luggage space have. But is possible everyone for the rest immediately with the Noble on path: none nervous, jankerig gedoe. Just if you want that, turned out to be 3R, the doorontwikkeling of the already longer existing M12 GTO-3, to, however, gemanierde super sport car. One those, as it hears, onderstuur ignore, overstuur in house have but to which you do not let end up fast in the swampy pastures of the Midlands. The thing is still controllable also. Thus the Noble have been also meant: very fast but manageable. Designer and director of Noble AutoMotive, Lee Noble, say about that: "we wanted build a car which you not continuously defies." The interieur - with start bud - is correct. Your zit tightly built in but with an excellent wheel position. Ford-hendels behind Momo-stuurwiel (`waarom, do not say Noble, they work very well and remain that to do) and white dials for temperature, fuel stock, speed and revolution counter. Evengoed have been ordered alertness. Because nicely therefore no ABS on this krachtpatser. You must do it itself. Kick too rapidly is block, ly. At 170 miles by hour just it stops, we felt ourselves at 130 mph (more zat even not on sinuous, narrow English binnenweggetjes...) still entirely nice in the stugge, but afgeveerde not hard as a rock machine. With steel spaceframe, a tight glass fibre koetswerk but especially a figured out harmonisation of the race-wielophangingrace-wielophanging race-wielophanging is the new Noble a car which must make the established order worried. Cost 56,000 pond in United Kingdom (including Mondeo-achterlichtunits) and the Dutch company StarShip, w.amstelveen@starshipwla.com, are busy do something for Dutch geïnteresseerden. Because the car is also already left-sent made. A vast file impression reads you in car week no. 6.28 January).

PORSCHE, MIND YOUR ASS !

England hits back with the Noble M12 GTO-3R, from the small UK car manufacturer which only should receive a lot of credit. Should Porsche be worried ? Autoweek went all the way with this new supercar.

All ingredients are present: finetuned ford V6 twin turbo of 3 litres and 352 pk, which lies transversely in the middle of the car and operates the rear wheels, the special synthetic fabric coachwork, but also the light weight of the duoseater of 1080 kilos.

Results : in 3.7 seconds to 100 and in 8.8 the Noble hits already the 160 kmh! Full acceleratin is breathtaking. The six gear box operates well except for 2nd gear and gives you an acceleration orgy which never stops. It's also striking how smooth and without any irritating noises all this power is used, also with a very smooth turbo power. Controls and steering very good with good feeling what's happening underneath you, but with a high degree of user friendlyness. Except the big turning circly makes the Noble not suited for weekend shopping. Also the fact the Noble doesn't have luggage or stowing space, but despite this everybody can drive the Noble as it's not a screaming unconfortable and difficult car.

Only if you want it the Noble changes into a well-manered sportscar, based on the further development of the already existing M12 GTO-3. A sportscar which doesn't have front wheels drifting all over the place but offers controlable real drifting and sliding so you don't end up on the side of the road in the british midlands - this thing can actually be controled as well... This is actually the purpose of the Noble, fast and controlable.

Designer and director of Noble AutoMotive, Lee Noble, says t: "we wanted build a car which doesn't defy you continuously ".

The interior, with start button is good, seatposition is narrow, but you have an excellent steering position. Ford handles behind the Momo steering wheel : "why not says Noble, they work " ! White meters for temerature, tachymeter, speedometer and fuel.

Caution is also necessary because (happy about that...) there is no ABS on this car, you'll have to do it yourself - hit it too hard and you'll block the wheels, so is it.

It ends at 170 miles per hour. we felt at 130mph (we couldn't do more on the wet slippery back roads of the english country side...) very good in the rigid but not hard amortized machine. A steel spaceframe, rigid glasfider body but especially well though race suspension makes the Noble a serious challenger for any existing sportscar today.

Costs 56K£ in the UK (including Mondeo backlights units) and the dutch company StarShip, w.amstelveen@starshipwla.com, is busy working something out for the dutch market cause the car is already available with left placed steering wheel. A more comprehensive test can be read in Autoweek nr. 6 (28th of january).

This article just gets better each time I read it...

I'm off out in mine for an "acceleration orgy that never stops" but wait... where are the "Ford handles behind the Momo steering wheel" - has anyone seen theirs?! LOL
