Hi, I am seriously considering a Noble and would be keen to speak to any other drivers/owners who cover around 10,000 miles a year.

I have taken a M12 GTO-3R for two test drives now and know if I do buy one will never want to leave it in the garage! So, will end up doing quite a few miles.

So, those high mileage Noble drivers, what problems have you had?

I look forward to the responses........

I've covered 20k miles in 23 months

A few teething problems with the original ECU and overheating, but both problems resolved with a new map and uprated cooling (now standard fit)

3R in anything but titanium... far too common! haha - :runsandhidesinsomethingflimsy:

Seriously, my favorites are Indigo Blue and Azure Blue -obviously! Red also looks great and as a leftfield choice I think the dark green (Goodwood?) looks luurvely. Who owned that one at last years Owner's day???

I think MV had a demonstrator in that colour. There is also one for sale in the PH classifieds.

I use mine most days. Commuting, visiting friends, thrashing through the lanes, etc. Now done almost 7,000 miles in 7 months.

Few minor niggles - none of which have taken away from the pleasure of running the car - all of which have been sorted beyond expectation by the dealer and factory.

If you can live with the 15-20 mpg (depending on how right foot is feeling), then the other costs are actually not as much as you might expect for a car with this performance. Main 6k service was only around £500.

To be honest I dont think they make in a bad colour, so unless you have a massive abberation of taste and order your 'special' colour... I think you are safe!

As for any coloured Noble being common.... hmmm

17000 miles in 17 months.

Apart from early problems the last 4000+ have been without any issues, despite the best efforts of a certain ex. Autocar test driver to spank its bum on the track
