I have only just noticed, after looking at your photos, that the 3R has an aerial whereas my GTO3 doesn't. Maybe that explains the lousy reception I get!

I think the aerial is alongside the radiator inside the front left wheel ?

Specified no external aerial for my 3R. Didn't want to spoil the lines of the car.

Alternate factory placement is inside the passenger sun visor, and yes - radio reception is crap.
