Brake mods - pedal position changes
Discussion
I recently had the brake mods done and can say that you don't need to get onto a track to feel the difference - there's a significantly more solid 'feel' all of the time. However I do feel that, for the cost of a few metres of solid brake piping, the South Africans could have installed this at build time - and, at minimal cost!
I do have an issue with the revised pedal layout though; this seems to work better for heel-and-toeing but no one told me that they bring the footrest plate higher too - now I can't get my left leg comfortable - I sometimes put it under the pedals but this is potentially dangerous! I also tried it over the top roll bar but that hurts and is not good for people I'm following when I'm wearing my kilt!!!
Maybe I'll investigate the steering wheel spacer so that I can sit further back?!
