I have "spotted" only two Nobles on the road...one silver one on the "D" roads of the kent weald countryside...9m ago (old news), and a few weeks back, travelling rather slowly (why?) up the A21 around sevenoaks at 6am...is there a london commuter from kent amongst you ?

incidentally, just how many nobles are there on the road?...would love to know how lucky one has to be to spot one.

I've been intersted in Noble for 18 months, and have still to see one on the road ! I think in a previous thread, in excess of 350 M12s have been produced - I'm sure somebody else with confirm or deny this.

thanks...still pretty rare then...just can't understand why anyone would want a porker (as common as Mondeo's in London) when for less money you can have more exclusivity, better performance and just as much every day useability...and then there is that sound track...oohh that sound track.

Perhaps Simon at the factory would like to comment - my 'guess' is:

400+ in total:
75 (almost all 3Rs) to international markets, leaving 325 of which:
200 are 3Rs
50 are 3.0s
75 are 2.5s

...pure, harmless speculation of course!

I know it's been asked before but, do the regulations allow only 200 Nobles a year, or is it 200 car's of a specific model i.e 200 3's, 200 3R's e.t.c

Cheers

Michael, I was told that it was 200 cars per each manager that signs a build document at Noble - so could effectively be over 1000 per annum!

According to Mole Valley, Noble are restricted to 200 cars total per annum, regardless of the variants...whether that's because only one guy can currently sign off on the builds I don't know, but I suspect it is the manufacturers limit...maybe Lee noble could set up another company "GTC" or such like, to get around these rules...particularly if the cars are sufficiently different...from a business perspective could make a lot of sense for this motoring visionary!

Excellence comes from knowing your implicit and indirect limits to your excellence.

For that reason I'd expect the 200 to be related to Noble's expertise rather than anything else.

J

[If you search on here you'll find the 200 is a mythical SVA limit since about 3 years ago....]
