Could someone please tell me how to be happy with a car that constantly breaks down....has been off the road more than on the damn road in the last year....comes back damaged from the factory....they wont even return my calls anymore...to me its been a disgrace.....you all wanted to know what my gripes were, and you were all fairly protective of your cars, and of Noble....well for my peace of mind, and for yours hopefully....here goes...

How many of you had your cars recalled by the factory or your dealer, between May 16th 03 to May 20th 03 ??
(potentially dangerous occurence)

Hey, Ray, lighten up a little. Things could be a lot worse. Just imagine if your business was caught by the new money laundering regs and one of your best client's says to you " Have you reported me to NCIS?"
If you answer; "Yes" - you commit a criminal offence.
If you answer: "No" - you commit a criminal offence.
If you answer: "The legislation bars me from answering that question." You don't commit an offence. But your client relationship is shot to bits.

I'll tell you what.
You tell me what's wrong with your car. And I'll tell you why mine is currently wholed up at Williams, and its not a routine service.

Elemee surely you'd be best off getting shot of it if you are having so many probs. Maybe make a deal with the factory? I know someone who did this with Caterham when he had probs with the car, the factory didn't agree, it all got heated and in the end he sold it back to them for a small loss.

A Friday, Monday and Tuesday? I'm confused as to how you've narrowed the recal period down to those days if it is so dangerous?

I didn't pick my car up until 23 May from memory so can't help you on that one but would like to know what the issue is, if you can't say on here then drop me a mail through my profile.

Cheers

Why don't you sell it to someone who actually wants it?

Here we go again. Elemee, do you have some reminder to post a monthly "it's shit but I can't tell you why exactly"? I think everyone here would be interested to hear your story but if you are unwilling to tell it then don't post.

As to the blown engine due to radiator fault - my original 3 had the same problem. Last July the engine blew in spectacular F1-type fashion with lots of smoke etc. I brought the car to the dealer who shipped it to the factory and 2 weeks later I had the car back with a totally new engine - no questions asked. In fact, the factory actually installed a track day sump for free! I was very happy with the service and attitude of the dealer and the factory. I had other cars where things went wrong due to manufacturing/design problems and it usually was a 6-18 months process of endless letters and legal threats to get the problem sorted; with Noble it was totally painless and professional. I am not saying that this may be the case with everyone but it certainly was my experience and means that I have bought 2 cars from them in 2.5 years and still get the big grin when I drive it.

I think no one will say that there are no problems with the Noble - because they are certainly there - but from my discussions with other Noble owners and reading through the forum posts, I believe that Noble just has a better way of dealing with those problems when they occur.

All our problems,as previously stated, are well documented by the factory, not the dealer...We were advised in writing that all cars had been checked,as we requested(happened to me,could happen to you)...My partner has since refused to get in the car because of it, she also wanted me to get rid of it..
Perhaps the factory should be making this post and not me.....?.....I am prepared to do just that, and I promise I will....since this occurence last year, matters have spiralled downwards....
Ted,please give people 24 hrs to tell me if they were recalled and checked, for any reason during this time, if they were not, I will then have to (for my own peace of mind) advise you all of the potential danger.....
I have been through all posts here, and on the owners site, and think i already know the answers....

Elemee skirting around the subject of your post I was wondering just why you are so keen to know if any recalls have been made? Are you looking for more third party information to back up your recollection of events. If so would it not be easier and more civilised to simply ask for it and give a reason for the request?

A number of isues have arisen for various people here, during my (shortish) time on these boards, and all have met with sympathetic ears IIRC.

The reason you percieve us all as apologists for Noble is that you have yet to give any info yourself and troubles you are experiencing, only asking for ours... and just bitching moronically about the 'problems' you have had, and about which you won't elaborate.

As Ted said just tell us whats wrong, then we can all talk about it normally, and you won't have to continue to view us all with such suspicion.

You're vague remarks aren't helping anyone; and especially not you.

It would be nice if we could help.

Name of this thread says it all really.

PLEASE tell us. You can't drop phrases like "potential danger" and then go silent. If something bad really might happen, I'd like to know!

Ray,

This is getting really silly now.

Simply post your experiences in your next reply or I will ban you. I will not have this forum subjected to this nonsense any longer. If you have a point to make then make it.

Regards,
Ted

Dude, (Has a non-owner of a Noble) there is only two reasons that YOU have not share with the rest here the problem/problems you have had with the GTO and they are.
One, YOU are just a troll who likes for some reason only know to you to cause trouble and basically put down the Noble has a car, company, and it's owners/fans of the Noble who post here.
Two, You have had major problem's with the Noble has a car and company. And in having these problems have decided to take legal action against Lee Noble and his company.
Thus you are here (has said by several people here) trying to gain more evidence to make your case stronger for you day in court.
But either you have or your legal consul and because of the rules of law in GB are being extremely vague in what your problems have been with the Noble and the company has a whole.
To the point of not saying anything really other than that you have had some major/a whole lot of minor problems together with the GTO has car.
That has made you an extremely angery man and that you have decided to make it your mission in life to cause some problem on this board and this website.

So either you should just leave and never come back to this board.
Or you should start sharing the problems you have had with the GTO with the rest of the owners of the GTO.
Cause if you haven't notice here there quite a few owners here who are willing to listen and help out their fellow/future owners of the Noble GTO with their question being answer to the best of their knowledge.

Yours Humbly,

Andy Klueber of the U.S.A.
