mmmmm.....

Edited by Dazren to say ws6, welcome to Pistonheads, unfortunately drawing attention to others misfortune is not how we do things around here. At the moment no one can be sure if anyone was injured or not. This will be a matter between the owner and the relevent third party/insurer/dealer/manufacturer etc.

Woah, not good at all I hope the owner's not here to see his or her misfortune on the 'net.

That's two down to fire that I've seen

The drivers' door looks out of alignment - may be the camera angle - or perhaps a hasty exit or the driver was dragged out via the window by the fire team?!

This could be one example of why some insurers, who previously insured Noble's, aren't now?!

WS6,
Am I correct in thinking you get some satisfaction from viewing another's misfortune. First and foremost was anyone hurt in this incident. Do you have their consent to publicise it in the way you have, ie. number plate etc.
The less information you give about the incident, the little information you give about yourself leads one to the inevitable conclusion that your sole aim is to deter future Noble owners from making a purchase and/or get existing owners wondering if they made the correct purchase.
IMO I definitely made the right choice.
But hey. Its a lovely day (here anyway) get out there!
PS. Perhaps you would let us know whether the occupants were ok.
Chris.

As the saying goes, that'll be another farthing on all our premiums.....

Or will the factory pick up the bill, as it would appear to be a fault during the warranty period?

(unless it was an insurance job) Only kidding.

In answer to the DAZ

1) “drawing attention to others misfortune is not how we do things around here”. DRAWING ATTENTION TO A CAR ON FIRE IS IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST WHICH IS THE POINT OF BULLITEN BOARDS – CORRECT ?

2) “At the moment no one can be sure if anyone was injured or not” SEE MY POST BELOW

3) “This will be a matter between the owner and the relevent third party/insurer/dealer/manufacturer etc” I JUST POSTED THE PICTURE

In Answer to CRB1

1) “Am I correct in thinking you get some satisfaction from viewing another's misfortune” YOU ARE INCORRECT

2) “First and foremost was anyone hurt in this incident” NO

3) “Do you have their consent to publicise it in the way you have, ie. number plate etc” NO – IT IS NOT NECESSARY – MY CAMERA, MY PICTURE (my local paper has a copy and it’s likely to be published next week)

4) “The less information you give about the incident, the little information you give about yourself leads one to the inevitable conclusion that your sole aim is to deter future Noble owners from making a purchase and/or get existing owners wondering if they made the correct purchase. “INEVITABLE CONCLUSION” - “DETER FUTURE OWNERS” I JUST PRESENTED A FACT – TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT BUT YOU CAN’T IGNORE IT.

5) “PS. Perhaps you would let us know whether the occupants were ok”

The owner lives down the road from me, I don’t know him but I know he is standing by the roadside looking on. There is no Ambulance present.

Both the Number plate and the owners I.D. and all other by-standers and fire crew have been concealed.

JJ

PS. Next time I see the owner I'll ask what happened and post it up.

Thanks for clarifying various points on this incident.
Particularly in relation to the safety of the occupants. Which is good news.
If you take into consideration the comment in your second post 'RIP 31.03.04' perhaps you will understand the nature of my comment. I assumed someone had died. Perhaps the next time you spot an incident you could be more informative from the start. It would have saved my time posting a reply and yours responding.
Regards.
Chris.
