You are just about to receive an evoactive email from Ted, so I thought I'd fill you in on the main details...

There has been much talk about the new Noble M400 around here, well now evoactive gives you the chance to see it up close and experience it from the passenger seat at Oulton Park on April 27th alongside professional race driver Rob Barff.

Rob will be back from Florida, where he recently finished 5th in the Sebring 12 hours in the Rollcentre racing Dallara, just behind the all-conquering Audis. In celebration of this we are offering a 10% discount to all Noble owners on this event (normal price £220).

Just book yourself into the day and as part of the package you will get to ride in this winged machine along with the equally rapid Radical SR3, a Caterham R400 and a Jaguar JP1. If you don’t want to drive your own car, you can just come for the passenger rides and enjoy the banter and atmosphere, you can. The rades cost just £70 for the whole group!

The magnificent Palmer Jaguar JP1 is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine developed by Cosworth to produce 300bhp and it looks, feels and sounds like Le Mans contender. It goes like one too, it’s very rare to get an opportunity to experience so many great cars on the same day.

Oulton Park is a real driver’s circuit with challenging corners, and a good mix of fast bends, undulations and a terrific parkland setting. If like going fast, this is the event for you.

More details are on www.evo.co.uk

Although if you want to actually drive the car, then you'll need to come on an Autocar day.

fully aware that a massive flaming is on the way, but just couldn't resist anyway

Now now boys. I never thought I'd see the day when Evo and Autocar are facing off in the PH forum.

Cracks me up

Let me see £200, just to passenger in the M400, hmmm, er don't think so. For £200 I'd want to drive it as well!

Not to pick sides or anything but the Autocar days you get to drive the cars, although they are only usually half days not full days.

Just my 2p.

Being an evo subscriber and a Noble owner do we get further reduction?

No it's not £200 just to passenger - that's the full trackday (and it includes the passenger rides). It's £70 just for passenger rides and that includes all the cars I mentioned earlier.

And it's a full day not just a few hours in the evening... Oh, and you'll get more than 3 laps in the car

And I've just noticed that the car you get to drive on the Autocar day is the 3R and not the M400...

Sorry - you started it.
