Hi

Try Tesco on line then ring them and say Noble not listed and you should still get the 10% on line discount!

We did last year! Need Tracker though

Tesco still the cheapest AFAIK.
Don't expect to get quotes for a Noble on line. Expect 'blank looks' when you phone most companies. "Is it a kit car/import?" etc. Ask them to 'refer to underwriter' and you've half a chance of a sensible quote.

Don't forget reducing factors are:

- Age and location
- Previous accidents or penalty points
- Number of years NCB (if your M12 is a second car most will match your main car NCB (thank god!)
- Garaged or not
- Tracker?
- Thatcham Cat 1 alarm
- Member of a car club

Think that's it?!

Do you have any names doing the above? The insurance on my current car is up in a couple of days and the company I am currently with won't insure a Noble. Thinking of buying one in the near future and keeping the MR2 as a run around, so I thought now is the time to move companies and get a decent discount on both. I have tried all the companies mentioned in the other thread all of whom said no.
(If anybody has a monza red or black 2.5 L with Black interior circa 35K let me know)
Cheers Rob.

Must admit, I was only allowed to claim my 10 yrs NCB against one of my cars. Maybe i'd be better off insuring the other one with a different company.

Rob!,
I found that the following companies will insure a Noble and will apply the same NCB discount as you've acquired on your first car. Others here will have more to add:

Cheam Insurance (01737 354377)
MSM (01279 870535)
Footman James (0121 561 6250)
Egger Lawson (0115 941 5255)
Peart (0870 240 2972)
A-Plan* (01494 677776)

* these guys expect you to possess Ayrton Senna type driving abilities - they told me I wasn't an experienced enough driver (they may have relaxed this now with more Noble's on their books)!!!

FYI, I found that firms like Tesco, Direct Line, etc. would NOT offer an equivalent bonus (but these did offer good quotes, if the M12 was your main/only car).

Good hunting!

Rob.
